ooc// +fingers crossed for a male primape+ Should have caught the female one I encountered months ago. xD

He was back in Plumeria. Nothing wrong with the jungle, but it wasn't exactly his favorite place to be. However, he was here on a mission, and when Adrian Smith had a plan, he would follow it to conclusion. The latest goal for the breeder? Lucario. His last project with vulpix of both varieties went spectacularly well. All his little foxes found good homes and he had more requests than ever for his services. If he kept saving up his money, he would have a down payment towards a physical practice by the time he worked his way through the Eden Elite. Once more, he was taking a break from that pursuit, because traveling cost money, as did the upkeep of his growing number of pokemon.

Stepping through the growth, he found himself in the same area as the Plumeria Gym. A small smirk worked his way on his lips. It had a new leader than when he challenged it, but the last one banned him from its premises. Not his fault the arena hadn't been earthquake proof. Lost in thought, he didn't pay attention to the rustling of leaves nearby. Connor, however, did notice.

The sylveon that was always at his side tugged at his wrist with a ribbon, a low hum in her throat.

They had company. Perhaps it was the kind they sought. The young man needed to find a member of the mankey line. It was the whole purpose of wandering in this sweltering jungle again in the first place.

Screeches from the high canopies were singing the jungle's normal tunes. Along with the bird pokemon chirping and the bugs buzzing, it was like any other day in the rain forest. Humidity was just as thick and heat was sweltering already before the hottest point in the day.

A wild Mankey, one so accustom to such conditions, scratched his underarm in little interest. Normality was sought by many but for this monkey pokemon, he grew bored over the monotonous days that past since he was little. A yawn soon escaped, evidence of said boredom shared to those who could hear.

Maybe it was a good idea to find his group, use them as entertainment with his pranks. The thought crossed the little wild monkey's mind, and if it were not for the new faces he peeked down below from the branches, he probably would've taken off by then to play pranks.

But of course, Mankey had his mind already set on the guests in the jungle. He cheered with joy and easily clambered down the tree to the vine covered flooring. The Mankey had no problem hoisting himself to the bushes nearby, ignoring the rustling he created. Instead he focus on the human, wholly zoned on the person rather than the Slyveon whom knew his presence was near.

He always wanted to see a human up close and boy was it cool doing so! His usual family group would usher him out of there before he could get a decent glimpse, yet with a good enough distance from his pack, the Mankey had no hesitation busting out of the leaves and moving closer to the guy, even experimenting with no fear by tugging on the trainer's shoelaces and other things that were near his height [and in reach].

Connor, the playful pokemon that she was, did not stop the mankey from approaching. She watched with amusement as he pulled at Adrian's bootlaces and pant legs, as if fascinated by his clothing. Of course, her trainer finally paid attention to his surroundings right about then, nearly jumping when he realized that it wasn't the sylveon fussing for attention. A smirk curled on his lips. A mankey. Checking his pokegear, he found it was reasonably leveled, which meant that training would be required but not so much that it derailed his plans. Now what to do? Battling it would be fastest. Connor could probably breath on it heavily and do damage, but the curious creature acted friendly enough. Befriending it was best. Though he was on a schedule.

Slowly, Adrian reached for his backpack. He unzipped it. Then pulled a tin from the top. The breeder cracked the lip off, revealing berries within. It was always good practice to keep the fruits on hand at all times for making candies as well as pastes. He plucked one of the berries out and knelt, careful and slow.

"Here," he murmured, extending the fruit upon his fingertips. Connor chirped and danced away from her trainer. If the fighting type tried to flee, it would be up to her to block and battle him.

The trainer's reaction was rather humorous for the wild Mankey and he couldn't hold back the jitters and laughs of amusement. He even expressed it by circling Adrian with a huge grin and jeering along with his arms in the air like an excited three old child. He had eventually calmed down and return to the heels of the human, once again tugging on the clothing to incite the same response.

However, something even better came.

The delicious berries.

The Mankey didn't even flinch for a second and swiped the one berry from Adrian's offer. He swallowed it whole and a content blush reach the monkeys cheeks. The berry was sweet and bitter at the same time, something the Mankey thoroughly enjoyed in the two seconds it touched his tongue. And of course, it wasn't enough.

He quickly hollered, no seconds wasted as he clambered up the trainer's outstretched arm and to his shoulders before snagging for the contents of the tin. He was success on grabbing a small handful which in turn was swallowed just as fast.

More
, his mind chattered.

He listened to it and swung down, using the arm that held the prize within reach like it was another branch in the high canopies above. Sandy brown fingers this time scrapped at Adrian's grasp and hopefully with enough weight and swinging, the trainer will drop the berries all over for the Mankey collect.

Greedy, gluttonous creature!

Adrian barely managed to keep his hands on the tin. Experience dealing with Connor's insistent tugging and similar antics helped him maintain his grip, but that did not lessen his annoyance. He pulled. The mankey was too heavy for him to just shake off without dislodging the berries all over the ground. Which left him with limited options. Should he just drop the tin or have Connor assist? Dark eyes trailed to the sylveon. She was huffing. Probably jealous that the mankey was eating the berries instead of her. Lovely.

"Connor, I'll give you a sweetie if you get this one under control," Adrian said, knowing that the way to the sylveon's heart was through her bottomless stomach. She perked up at the proposition. Bingo. She snaked out two ribbons and tried to wind them around the mankey's limbs so that she could peel him off her trainer.

There was grabbing, there was swatting at hands, and there was a beautiful can of berries that were still in the humans grasp. The mankey never lessen his determination and his greedy fingers were ever so close in the fray of things. However, the momentary triumph that twinkled in his eyes were washed away at the ribbons that wrapped around his limbs.

That was a big no no.

He screeched initially. Then dropped from Adrien's arm to the ground, face red and fist pounding at his chest and ground. He never lowered his voice in the stomping tantrum he used on the jungle floor, in fact it gained a few higher octaves when he began to bolt around in circles to rid of those ribbons that snaked on his body.

"Off! Off!"

He pawed, scratched, anything to rid of those weird things. He didn't take lightly to being touch although he was a hypocrite himself for crawling all over the trainer and bursting the human's personal bubble. Only he could break boundaries, not the other way around!!!

For the love of...Adrian winced as the mankey threw a fit. Okay. He was done playing nice trainer. He wasn't going to give over all his berries to a greedy pokemon that screamed if he didn't get his way. In fact, he'd just end this fiasco as quickly as possible. "Connor, give'em a kiss," he said as he motioned at the wild pokemon. The sylveon, who was mildly offended at being attacked in such a manner, did not release her hold, but instead pulled him closer to lay a pink tinted kiss on his cheek. Hopefully a draining kiss or two would calm him down and make him catchable.

He used his moment of freedom to close the tin up and tuck it away.

Who knew what the mankey would do next?

Those confounding ribbons never cease their hold on the hollaring Mankey. As a matter of fact, they tighten and pulled, dragging him closer to the trainer's Pokemon. He frowned, kicked and tugged back, but those weird wrapping appendages had him right up to the Slyveon and before he could even try to swipe at her, her fuzzy lips laid a small kiss against his cheek.

A huge reddish hue exploded across his face and his swinging automatically stopped, like his arms froze in midair and the tension across his face melted away from the heat that rushed to his face in a furious blush. Then His muscles relaxed - body and arms slacked - mainly from the attack draining a good amount of his energy away. But is was short lived as they stiffen at the memory from the sweet peck the Eeveelution which kept replaying in his head.

She kiss me? His paw hand slowly caress his cheek, face even redder than before. She like me!? His eyes snapped over to the Slyveon and those large lovely blue, eyes of hers. They were as vast and open like the sky he would see when climbing up to the canopies, twinkling like the bright stars in the night. He was sinking in them, sinking hard and he completely ignored the ribbons altogether under the self infatuated state by then. He just stared, confused and mildly blissful, unable to forms thoughts other than 'she like' or 'she kiss me.'

One could say that peck had utterly fried his brain.

ooc// I am laughing so hard right now, Toni.

Bic//

Connor giggled and looked up at her trainer. The mankey was much quieter now. He wasn't even struggling anymore. With a hum she set the blushing pokemon on the ground, her ribbons loosening from their former, shackle-like state. If he wasn't throwing a fit, then there was no harm in letting him have some freedom. The eeveelution was oblivious to the befuddled adoration of her newest admirer. After all, she had just attacked him. As calm as he was acting, he couldn't possibly feel affection. It just had to be embarassment or uncertainty. The keen realization that she was so much stronger than him. It had to be that.

Adrian quirked a brow at his 'behaving', but he wasn't about to complain. He fished out a pokeball from his pocket and gave it a toss. It was on target, so unless the mankey came to his senses and batted it away, it should land square on on his head.

Restarting his thoughts were a troubling problem for the Mankey, for he had no clue what the trainers true intentions were with him. And those intentions were clear as day when a red pokeball appeared. However the poor thing was love sick, like literally. He was so nauseous from the kiss, it made those berries twist in his stomach in both a good and bad way.

So when he was return to the ground and released, he could barely hold himself up. Thankfully or not, he had no need to stand as the contraption suck him into the darkness the pokeball brought. He had no energy, just the feeling to throw up and then take a long nap. The ball didn't even wiggle once, but when the time comes with renew vigor, he will be back up and running like before and ready for one of those kisses from the cute yet deadly Slyveon called Connor.

Wild Mankey was captured

Adrian Smith - You have true patience of a saint! thank you and here is your prize mankey!!!
