Dakota picked up Kai from a breeder, freshly hatched out of his egg. He grew up well socialized and quite the curious little bugger. He and Adrian have become best buddies, often instigating little play fights with each other, which embarrasses Dakota so they continue to do it. He loves belly scratches, red berries, and rolling around in the dirt.

This feisty little Litwick joined Dakota's team in Ironwood City. She was lost and huddled in the corner of an alley, and luckily Samara spotted her fading flame as they walked by. Dakota took her in and kept her safe from the rain. Not having anywhere else to go, the Litwick stayed with Dakota and Samara. She's fun and excitable, but obedient.

Shiny Eevee ■
This shy little creature was sick and cold when Dakota found her. After bringing her to the nearest pokémon center and getting her taken care of, Dakota attempted to let her go back into the wild. The Eevee was so grateful for her kindness she followed her back into town. Dakota wasn't aware of her slightly off color until much later. Named after Dakota's mother, Elena wants nothing more than to cuddle and give all the love she can give. Oh, and eat poffins.

Dakota and her team came across this sweet, gentle Dusclops while out in Asphodel Meadows. At first he was shy and defensive but after some coaxing from Samara, he joined them for the rest of their walk. He was quite the outsider in the wild, and now he's part of a team and a family. Much happier now, he's quite friendly and quite playful. He particularly likes Dakota and Samara, often trying to be included in everything they do. Dakota likes him, and rolls her eyes at his cravings for her attention. Samara becomes a little jealous if he steals too much attention.

Super Luck ■
Rose came from a friend. Her name came from the deep red color of her eyes. Dakota is still getting to know her, but knows she's had a rough past and tries not to take her bad behavior personally. She reminds Dakota of herself, in a way. Rose is quiet, and barely ever speaks. Most of the time she acts like she hates being where she is and the people or pokémon around her. Even if that's the case, she doesn't turn away when Dakota scratches her ears or brushes the long fur in her face and around her neck.

Dakota received this fun loving girl in a trade. She was rescued from a poachers trap by a ranger, and was so thankful for his services she followed him home. She's sweet, but craves a lot of attention and is somewhat high-maintenance. Dakota would avoid a human that acted like her at all costs, but because she's a short stubby rock pokémon Dakota kind of likes her. Plus, she can be rather humorous at time, making a fool of herself when her demand for attention backfires. She also seems to have a crush on Adrian, which Dakota finds amusing as it always embarrasses him.

Keen Eye ■
Gabi for short. This monstrous little misfit caused quite a scene during the Harvest Festival. It was leaping between visitors, stealing pieces of candy and treats from their hands and scurrying away. With Samara's help, her and Dakota were able to track her down and capture her. She is quite the handful, often disobeying anytime she can. However, if Dakota has something sweet in her hands, she'll obey wholeheartedly. Dakota doesn't let her out much, in fear she might run off, but she plans to work with her and train her for battles. Right now, she only comes out to play indoors where she can't escape (even though she still tries).

Shiny Vulpix ■
Flash Fire ■
Named after a Roman goddess of fire.
Just like all the misfit pokémon Dakota seems to come across, this little Vulpix was a spitfire from day one... literally. She was nestled in the corner of an alley spitting fire at anyone that came close to her. No one seemed to be interested in her so Dakota took the initiative and tried to help her. With Adrian's help, they were able to convince her to come out from the corner. Dakota took her in, hoping to socialize her more and get her used to people. She's made progress, but not much. Vesta is feisty, and doesn't hesitate to speak her mind. She is very guarded, and earning her trust is near impossible. Dakota's not even sure she trusts her own trainer. Regardless, they are working together and do get along occasionally.

Alolan Vulpix ■
Snow Cloak ■
Adopted Dec 2017
Named after a snow goddess in Greek mythology. Dakota adopted this sweet darling from a breeder. It was the last Alolan Vulpix they had, and of course it was the runt. Something told Dakota this little girl would be quite powerful though, so she adopted her. Her other Vulpix, Vesta, took to her instantly. The two are now inseparable sisters.

Early Bird ■
Dakota received Sienna as a trade offering for her Deino. Dakota didn't hesitate to take the offer, mostly wanting to get rid of the Deino as quickly as possible. The little Houndour was shy at first, but has long since become comfortable with her trainer. She earned the name Sienna because of her burnt brown fur on her muzzle and chest. Sienna keeps Dakota from sleeping in... ever. She also demands attention every single day, and gets very upset if she's left in her pokémon for too long. She loves to play, battle, and everything in between.

Dakota came across this gentle creature one night in Ironwood during her alley runs. This Gothorita was in the middle of arranging pebbles and stones to match the stars above so she could read what they had to say. Dakota managed to keep a man with a garbage bag from interrupting, and because of that the Gothorita became curious of her. According to the stars, Dakota was about to face some real trouble, so the Gothorita offered to join her and help her out. Dakota accepted, happy for the help but also anxious about what was to come.

Shiny Seviper ■
Shed Skin ■
Named after the Goddess of the Underworld, this terrifying snake is just that. She is the most evil, untrustworthy pokémon Dakota has ever had to deal with. The only reason why she ended up with her in the first place was because she lost a bet. Dakota tries very hard to train her and teach her manners, and sometimes Persephone gives her some false hope and behaves... but it doesn't last long. Dakota's not sure what her plans are yet, but she's not giving up.
